Bushfire Relief Grants
In response to the devasting bushfires across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland in January 2020 the Arcare Family Foundation provided three grants totaling $60,000 to support recovery for local communities, farmers, and wildlife.

Fareshare
FareShare rescues food that would otherwise go to waste and cooks it into free nutritious meals for people in need. An estimated five million Australians experienced food insecurity last year while food waste costs our economy an estimated $20 billion. FareShare tackles the tragedy head on by rescuing surplus, quality food from supermarkets, wholesalers, farmers and other businesses and cooking it into nutritious meals.

Bellarine Community Health
The Bellarine Community Health Nursing & Palliative Care Team provide support to clients and families on the Bellarine to remain at home through the progression of their illness or until they are admitted to a hospital or palliative care unit. A 24 hour, seven days a week service is provided by a combination of community nurses, specialist palliative care doctors and nurses. This team works tirelessly to support members of the community in need, in their place of comfort.

Asylum Seekers Resource Centre
Emergency Appeal for COVID-19 (Grant: $20,000) The Asylum Seekers Resource Centre was founded 18 years ago and is now Australia’s largest human rights organisation providing support to people seeking asylum. They offer more than 40 holistic programs that protect people seeking asylum from persecution and destitution, support well-being and dignity and empower people to advance their own future.

Asylum Seekers Centre
Support for Asylum Seekers during the COVID-19 crisis (Grant: $20,000) The Asylum Seekers Centre is based in Newtown in Sydney and they provide practical and personal support for people living in the community who are seeking asylum.

Northern Health
The Arcare Family Foundation provided a grant of $50,000 to Northern Health to support its response to COVID-19. The Northern Health services area has been hard hit by the pandemic, in particular Northern Hospital in Epping where many patients have been hospitalised.
